Anyone know what the ATF is up to now as far as entering the info from Form 4's?? I'm guessing they are into May, and the end of the Pre-41F applications??
I gots a long way to go, but good to keep up on where they are.....

If this helps, my F4 was mailed 04/01 and approved on 11/19. |

I don't think any of you read his question...or at least you haven't answered it.
OP...I don't know. I see people occasionally reporting that info based on what an examiner or CSR at the NFA branch tells them, but I haven't had to call up there recently to ask. |

Yeah, was just wondering what they were up to entering by now. I know I have a loooong way to go, so I'm not calling. Mine was mailed by SS on 9/24, and check cashed 10/23 so
From the average wait times on NFAtracker.com, I would be optimistic for March or April, but I'm not really expecting it till the summer. |

As far as entered in, I've heard a few things recently. Late May / Early June, June, and early July. It's impossible to get a straight answer....
I know they just entered a mid/late June into their system. I suspect they have entered most of June by now, but probably next to none from July. |

They should pick up a little bit on entering forms now, as the number of apps dropped dramatically after 41F. Although, approvals will probably stay the same, or longer, as they work though and approve those pre-41F apps. Yeah, I know why am I trying to make sense of the .gov

They haven't updated the current processing times since Aug.

I would guess a whole lot longer than three months. I would guess ~6-8 months maybe after it goes into the system at the current rate.
In January/Feb it was taking a week or two to be entered into their system. We're finishing up March approvals, but the amount of forms submitted in June/July blew previous months out of the water. But really, who knows. My best guess would be most of April returned by mid Feb, then may of may coming back May by June, and going from there. February took like 4 months to get through, then March was about 45 days. But there were more April forms than March, and they take a break for Christmas. |

I have several from Mid March that were approved NOV 8. in my hand 23 NoV.
Expecting to get several back this week. I submitted about 50 or so the end of March. thanks Steve Colonial Armory 816-718-9489 FYI Customer Did a Form 1 4 Apr Approved and in his hands 5 DEC. |
