Hi all, new to this part of arfcom. Friend of family has a SS 10/22 with a Tac-Ord integrally suppressed barrel. Husband died, she is getting paperwork gathered to legally transfer.
Any guess as to fair price? Only seen photos and it looks good. Owner was not an active guy and I'm pretty sure it was used lightly. Also has harris bi-pod and variable power bsa scope. I am not interested, dont shoot rimfire enough to matter. Just trying to give one of my parents oldest friends a decent idea on what to ask. Shaneus |

I would scan both :
Sturmgewehr And subguns.com ( I can not access that site from Thailand for some reason to add a hot link) Usually the asking price is a bit higher than the sale price. Also check out some of the dealers sites to see if they have one. Remember the dealer is willing to wait for a buyer. As a point of issue while I'd like to own one of those it doesn't have a huge value. Consider with all the hassle of doing the paperwork transfer and paying the fee how much harder is it to order a new suppressed barrel and new 10/22 and putting it together on your own? BTW, I also just stumbled onto a recent sale at gun broker with a Leupold scope that sold for $750. I suspect that is higher than you'll get for this one. Best of luck. I wouldn't mind having it myself but I already have a 10/22 with target barrel threaded to accept a can. |

Those are just my guesses. Your friend should explore having a professional handle the transaction since there will be important paperwork and a ton of waiting time involved. Plus, dealing with a neutral third party will put the buyer at ease. |
| I have a Yankee Hill integral 10/22. New was $800 for the gun with integral barrel. U can find just the barrel for 550. So save bet if its shot very little would be 600-650 for the whole gun. If u want u can remove the integral barrel and sell the receiver seperate. Then maybe 200 for the rest of the gun OBO and the integral suppressed barrel 400ish. If in state would be easier. good luck |
