Anyone out there having a cycle problem when using a can? Right now I am using my Osprey 45 till my Omega 9k gets out of jail. Tried 147 and 115 same with both. Not sure if its just the large can or what. I have read other guys using 45 Osprey and working fine. Thanks for any advise.

Are the loads both on the lighter side? You may want to try a hotter load to see if it can overcome the increased drag on the slide/barrel.

My little 938 looks silly with the Octane 45 hanging off the end but it cycles on every 9mm round I've put thru it.
I tried my form 1 9mm can which is a little heavier shooting AE Suppressor 124gr ammo and it did not cycle.
Not sure if the Osprey is a bit heavier than the Octane but maybe that's why?!?

I'd love to see and hear the 938 with the 9K.  That'll be a great little setup.

Definitely the size of the can. When I had my tb 938, even with the TiRant 9s, a couple of cycling issues until the spring broke in. I suspect the ones who say that the full size 45 cans work with no issue have pistols that have high round counts. Manually cycle your slide a bunch to speed up the process...make sure you use gloves...it's going to take a while.

Not mine, but what it looked like before when I had to give up my can.

It can be a lot of issues.

That barrel has a LONG way to travel relatively speaking in order to cycle properly, that is versus a full size barrel.

Could also be the recoil spring.

Thanks, called SiCo there answer was to large of a can. Guess I will just wait a year till I get 9k to really use it with a can.
