Should I thread my 10/22? Right now it's set up as an Appleseed training rifle.
Right now I have three threaded Rimfire hosts and three Rimfire cans.
I also have a stripped charger receiver that I'll SBR for which I'll get another muzzle can. I'm also contemplating an integral at some point.

Thoughts?

You could just buy a threaded 10/22 replacement barrel, too.

Thread everything! I've found that if I can't suppress it I don't shoot it (with the exception of revolvers).

You could probably get a factory threaded barrel takeoff for less than the cost of a thread & front sight relocation job.

A year or so ago when my 22 CAN was approved, I sold my unthreaded take down for only a little less than I paid. I then bought a threaded take down. You are more likely to lose less by doing the same...

FWIW, I also did the same with my SR22 pistol.

Probably true but I really love the tech sights. Been there done that with a .920 barrel, although unsuppressed and I'm not excited about that.

I am in a similar dilemma. I just bought a takedown marine and have not fired it. I am thinking of getting it threaded or trying to sell it or trade it for the tactical takedown version with the TB.

Do you need to remove the can to reload the tube feed magazine?

Yes
16+1 of .22mag on tap and it's more of a hunting platform and a plinker so it doesn't bother me/no "hot can" to really worry about

Great looking rifle. I see we have similar tastes in wood grain. How do you like the redfield?

Thank you sir!  I really dig it. It's perfect for my purposes with this rifle (killing soda cans and clay pigeons at 50 yards). Mine is 2x-7x with the simple 4-plex reticle. I was initially drawn to it by its low, slim profile.
