I can't register on the eforms site because the drop down box for city (an asterisked item)  doesn't work.  Anyone else encounter this?  What is the workaround?

I'm using internet explorer version 11.

It has happened to me many times. As I remember, I had to go back and manual fill all fields and circumvent the auto fill.

This is what I see:

Now only 1/3 of the site is working...guess I'll try again tomorrow.

Paper forms aren't too bad, right?

Fill in the zip code and it will bring up a list of valid cities.

And as mentioned above, don't use autofill.

Yeah, I filled in my ZIP and it didn't work.  When I click on the "city" field, I get a rectangular box that is only as wide as the blue part you see there, and extends down the page about an inch.  it's blank and you can't click in it to type.

Also, The "clear" button on the lower right doesn't work--I'll fill the form out (as completely as I can with no city), and I'll try to hit clear but the button does not work.

Should I call somewhere in ATF land tomorrow?

Looks like I broke the page!

Try a different browser? Maybe Chrome - that's what I've had luck with.

Shockingly enough, ATF can't keep up with technology either.    My attempts to use IE11 were a miserable failure also.  As Engineer said, use Chrome.

I had this problem too.  I then switched to compatibility mode and it worked for me.

Compatibility view:  fail for me.

CHROME:  worked!

Another thing:  My last name has a space, and it would not let me register without running my name together.  So, name on trust (for example): Chicken Daddy.  Name to register:  ChickenDaddy.

THX  THX  THX!!

I successfully registered 3 things as SBR's today.

I used the wait time between the ATF website responses to look for more SBRs to register, buy guns and suppressors!

Often I had to look up things like "how long is an M4 stock AR with 10.5" barrel" and the answer that googled back came from the usual suspects here.  thanks for the tutorial and help!!

"one SBR a week until 41F"

I had it happen a couple times with Chrome.  One time I just logged off and back on and it worked.  The first time none of the drop down boxes for manufacturer would work and would not accept any form of Colt or Colt Manufacturing.  I entered my trust name (which is wrong) and it accepted it.  It was immediately in "pending research" status.  I called them and got through but got no help.  I also emailed their "ask the expert".  I told both of these the drop downs did not work.

Within a week, I pulled up my form and they had corrected it to Colt and it was no longer in "pending research".

What a relief!!!!

I just measured the one in my safe.    27" with collapsed Magpul CTR.  You have to keep in mind that some people measure barrel length incorrectly.  Some include the FH, some don't.
