Alright guys, I have done my research and I have my dedicated 5.56 can narrowed down to a Specwar and an M4-2000. Buying it tomorrow evening. I have read the good and bad on both, give it to me straight, which can is the better one? It will mostly see life on a 10.5 SBR.

Edit- Specwar not saker, its been one of those days

Saker!!!! I have two

But really I feel the mounting system is better and silencerco has has some of the best warranty/customer service in the business

I've heard bad stuff about AACs CS

Edit: I also have a Specwar which you listed I'm your thread but not in your title
.... The specwar is also a good choice but I love the mounting system on the saker so I choose saker over specwar for that reason

This, we have sold both and are dumping aac purely because of CS not wanting to answer the phone.

I don't own either; my only rifle can is an AAC SDN6. If I were you I'd get the Specwar because Stellite and better mount.

ETA: Have you looked at the Specwar K?

For those with the specwar, how do you like the mount? The locking ring is pretty secure? From the videos I have seen it looks really easy to disengage.

I've had my original specwar 762 for two years without issue with the mount. And I've had my specwar K for about 6 months without any issues. Now I'm waiting on my Omega and comfortably predict that I will have zero issues. The asr is a solid repeatable mount that is easy to use.

Thanks for the insight guys. I have heard so much negativity about AAC's CS, makes me worry about getting one.

Yes, and much lighter, while still suppressing better than the full size saker.

well now i just have to decide if i want the specwar or the specwar k. It will mostly see use on a 10.5 and possibly 14.5 inch AR. The reduced weight would be nice on an SBR.

It's a sweet little can. Only 33" collapsed with an 11.5" barrel.
