Anyone got a line on some ![]() Yeah the line starts behind me If you ask AAC they will tell you 2 weeks every time no matter what. They've been telling me 2 weeks for about the last 6 weeks Im on week two of another manufacturer telling me late this week or early next week on reupping their stock of a pistol I want. Im starting to wonder if this is a sign and I shouldn't do it Its like the entire industry stops production for shot show or something |

I saw an aftermarket option.... But its $300 and looks like ass not to mention adding what looks to be a good bit of OAL vs the triad http://www.hkparts.net/shop/pc/AAC-Tirant-Adapter-JB-Tactical-p16726.htm Yeah I can wait. I have my Silencerco 3 lug so that will hold me over |

Triad for Tirant is what I assume you're asking for. Yeah, they are hard to come by. Triad for Evolution and Eco was discontinued last year. Correct. I guess I assumed they had a different name for the older generations. I am looking for one for a tirant |

I have been looking for one for a long time and got lucky in the EE. One when up for sale and I snagged it. I'm loving it on my 9MM SBR with the Griffin 3 lug mount. Yup I posted a WTB and mind was blown a few days later. I figured no way in hell Id get one. I think Ill use the EE more now Its pretty cool on the Mp5k clone. I am slightly disappointed however. Everyone agrees the suppressed 1911 in .45 is slightly quieter than the MP5k with subs. Theres almost a very very slight pop of the action with the K clone. The 1911 you just really hear death and destruction hitting downrange Both very pleasant to shoot either way. 1911 shits on you a bit more |

They've been telling me 2 weeks for about the last 6 weeks I'm fairly certain the only people "working" at AAC is the guy answering the phone. Funny part, or not so funny, is when he says, "Let me ask my tech". He should really put people on hold before he starts talking to the guy in the next cubicle. I'm wondering if the "tech" is also marketing, finance, accounting, human resources, the IT department, and R & D. I wonder if his name rhymes with Smobert Smilvers. I'm sure they will make it right once everything returns to stock by including a complementary 1 oz. bottle of Rem Oil with each order. Their company operates as smooth as a well Rem Oiled BDL in Alaska. |

Much quieter. It's just the wet slap of the bullet hitting. |

Much quieter. It's just the wet slap of the bullet hitting. We were all surprised too. Can is a Tirant 45. I also heard a Octane on a full size MP5 and I couldn't tell a difference between my K with 45 can and his with a 9 can. Both ran wet. With the 1911 and MP5K ran wet everyone agrees the 1911 is slightly quieter. The K(with 147 subs) somewhat has a very slight pop to it. Both are silly quiet. |

My 147's has a very slight pop, most will not notice it, but I do.
The 165 Xtreme is stupid quiet. I had loaded some up and put the can on the M&P. I opened the French doors in the basement and took aim at a old tree out back. The wife was upstairs reading a book, no music or tv on. I fired 10 rounds, from inside the house, at the bottom of the stairs, out the French doors. I asked her afterwards, did you hear that? She replied-Hear what? Out of the 9mm SBR, they are slightly louder, only because I'm running an 8" barrel. But not loud enough to make you perk up. |

I was just using whatever somewhat cheap 147 I could find locally. Its still plenty quiet regardless. I agree on the pop. I can hear a very slight pop on the action of the MP5K clone. Its slight though and isn't offensive. The 1911 is just a tiny bit quieter. Really surprises me. It doesn't have the pop and really all you mainly hear is the round impacting downrange. Its very quiet when wet. But it does shit on you a bit which the K clone does not in the slightest |

Check your trunnion to roller engagement. Some of the clones don't fully engage. Also the proper locking piece is important. Both of these features greatly affect dwell time/unlocking time.
If they're incorrect it will unlock early and sound like a blow back action (loud) as opposed to a roller delayed (quiet). I purchased a Black Mark Parts (mp5k) barreled receiver and experienced this problem. After some TLC going back to their smith 3 times, and parts swapping its a lot better and is reliable with a sear installed. The result of early unlocking was a higher rate of fire, malfunctions, chewed up recoil buffer and noticeably louder at the action. 147 is very quiet in the BMP MP5K after I resolved early unlocking. Before resolution it was not fun to shoot. |

IM me your address and I will mail you a few 165gr bullets to play with. My load is 3-3.5 grains of Titegroup, Winchester primers, mix cases. I missed this until now. I appreciate the offer however. Im going to try and 80* locking piece to see what happens. I do have dies for 9mm. Maybe Ill start reloading for it since 147 grain ammo is pretty expensive considering. |

I need a few extractor springs on stand by any how |

I almost dare to say you barely hear a shot and simply hear the action working with a wet can and 147 grain ammo. |
