Silencerco Threaded Barrels
Has anyone had any experience with these? Especially the Sig P226 9mm model? The price is right, but I'm leary of buying a barrel from a company that just started doing barrels.
Thank in advance for any opinions.

I just bought the G19 and G21 this weekend. Haven't tested mine yet, but will probably get that done this week. I'll let you know.

I believe they're all rebranded, not actually made in house.

I would have bought one but was looking for 13.5x1. I asked and they said they have no plans on offering it but they just released a glock barrel in that pitch, so who knows. I'm sure they are well made though, and a good price. $150 something was the lowest I saw. But I ended up getting a 13.5x1 oem sig barrel from the EE.

I have a g21 barrel that I got for free with the Octane 45 deal they ran last year with Silencer Shop....shoots fine, have had no issues.

I have their G34 threaded barrel - very pleased with the quality & accuracy. It holds onto the Octane 45 HD nicely.

Great minds think alike. I have the exact same set up, and the Silencerco barrel is excellent.

I just bought and took possession of a Silencerco Sig P226 threaded barrel. The Sig Legion 226 that its going in doesn't arrive until Thursday so I can't speak for the fit and function yet. I will update when I can. So far, the fit and finish of the barrel is nice and the price was right. I did have to get a 1/2 x 28 piston. I would have preferred a 13.5 LH as I have a piston for that already but the factory 226 barrel was more expensive and not as easily accessible and I am a supporter of Silencerco so I went this route.

I have the g19 barrel, took a bit of polishing and about 500 rounds to get it to run right.

I have the G19 barrel with an 45 Osprey on it. Works fine.

I have a glock 17 barrel and I'm very happy with it.  It seems to be very well made.  I don't have any experience with any other threaded barrels, however.

Have a few hundred rounds through my 19 barrel - no issues.

I've heard nothing but good about all of their barrels. Haven't shot the P226 barrel, but took a picture using one... Lockup was night and tight and overall F&F was great.

You put an inch-threaded barrel on a Legion?!?!?!?

Just kidding - it looks great!

Yeah I went with the Silencerco vs a factory barrel. It was more readily available and I value the Silencerco brand. I did have a 13.5 X 1 LH piston on hand though so it would have saved my from buying a 1/2 X 28

Just put 500 rounds tonight through my G19 with a 45 Osprey with no issues. Very happy thus far.

My P226 barrel won't cycle suppressed reliably. I've put about 200 rounds of 147gr through it and can't get through more than 5 rounds without a failure to return to battery. Interestingly enough shooting 115gr through it I have better reliability. My barrel appears to have too tight lockup... I talked to SiCo once but I'm debating seeing if I can send them my top end and having them fix it.

FYI the gun is a trade-in .40 I bought a new 9mm top end for.

Curious, how much was a 9mm top end?

I have a couple hundred run through between my G17 & G34 SiCo barrels with an 9mm Osprey attached.

They both dropped right in and have run 100% with 4 different brands of domestic factory 147grain ammo

Zero issues so far.
