I see a lot of references to a "DM". Is this someone that can machine parts for me for my form 1 build?
What exactly can he do that's not available from SD? |
|
Meant SD Tactical. What kind of parts does Chris machine? I thought I had to build the can myself? ETA: I have very little machining knowledge and was under the impression that I could purchase the parts needed from SD and the only thing I needed to do was drill the baffles and end cap. What am I missing besides a whole lot? |

ETA: I am assuming I can send DM un formed freeze plugs and he can form the baffles....just cant drill the holes? Basically I can have him do everything but drill the holes? |

YHM mount in Ti or SS ETA: SDTA could never get their YHM adaptor correct. To my knowledge, DM is the only game in town |

Not to my knowledge. I'd buy a blast shield and use that as a the back adaptor. Same concept on griffin or Surefire's Can DM machine baffles for me? why not ask DM? You have his email address. Let us know what you find out |

No one seems to know if DM has an 01/07 FFL and where is is located seems to be a closely held secret, so it's hard to know what the process for him to legally machine baffles for you would be. There would be one but it would require at least 1 tax stamp, possibly more than 1. Disregarding that, he can not under any circumstance legally just make your baffles and drop them in the mail to you. |

This has been discussed in a few threads. |
