| Anyone have first hand experience shooting the AAC Cyclone? Any db testing? Is it quieter than the Specwar 762? Thanks. |
| Since this is my opinion and we all know what opinions are, I have a Specwar 762 and can confidently say that it is the best in sounding and suppression out there. It's heavy as hell, but, it's awesome. My buddy who has the AAC Cyclone was all ticked off that his almost $900 + stamp can wasn't as good as my $720 + stamp can. He bought his a few months prior to me buying mine as soon as it was released. Now, I will say that the Capital Armory deal on the Cyclone is a really good deal. |
I have both. I haven't shot them side by side but to me they both perform well. Just depends on whether you want a heavy, well performing thread-on can or a heavy, well performing QD can.
Also to add - the Specwar supports more powerful cartridges than the Cyclone |

I think Capital Armory is having a 72hr sale on their Cyclones. Forgot where I saw it. As a owner of both, I like the SpecWar for everything but repeatable POI. And it is even pretty good at that. My Cyclone has its place on my precision, long barreled bolt guns. My SpecWar goes on everything else. They are both long and heavy. The both perform well (nod goes to the SpecWar.). You can't go wrong either way. |

I own the cyclone k(baby brother) and I like it but I wish I would have done more research before I got it. Not 556 rated being my main disappointment.
Honestly, aac sucks. Their products are good but if you ever have a problem, good luck ever talking to someone. I sent an email and I'm not sure if it ever got replied to. Silencerco ftw. |
