All the threads I've seen on this are pretty outdated, and there seem to be a bunch of new products out there, but I'd like to know which of them is worth the ching. Here's what I'd like to hear about:
1) Charging handles. I've heard about the PRI gas buster. Is this the best thing around for this purpose? 2) This thing: Gas Vent Does it work? Is it worth losing the FA? 3) Adjustable gas blocks? IDK I'm just speculating, but can these do something to reduce blowback? |

Less gas coming back means less gas coming out in your face. The other two do nothing to reduce gas, they just attempt to vent it in another direction. |

I'd go for adjustable gas block first, since it helps with the cycling issues introduced by a suppressor along with the blowback. From there, if you still have blowback, your options are:
(In no particular order) 1. RTV silicone mod on your existing charging handle 2. Gas Vent 3. Gas Buster Charging Handle RTV silicone is like... $6 off Amazon for you to try. I've heard very good things about the gas vent and I'd try that next. |

That said, between the gas buster or modified CH and the vent you can make a pretty big dent in your blowback. Since the FA is IMO worthless, you don't lose anything. |
