All the threads I've seen on this are pretty outdated, and there seem to be a bunch of new products out there, but I'd like to know which of them is worth the ching. Here's what I'd like to hear about:

1) Charging handles. I've heard about the PRI gas buster. Is this the best thing around for this purpose?

2) This thing: Gas Vent Does it work? Is it worth losing the FA?

3) Adjustable gas blocks? IDK I'm just speculating, but can these do something to reduce blowback?

Gas block is the real fix. Less gas coming back means less gas coming out in your face. The other two do nothing to reduce gas, they just attempt to vent it in another direction.

The CH modification doesn't do shit imo.  On my sbr 5.56 the only solution was an adjustable gas block.  Now on my .300blk you can tone the gas with different buffers.

PRI Gas Buster and the problem is solved.  I have them on all 13 of my suppressed rifles.

The newer BCM Gunfighter charging handles suppress the gas well enough for my liking. Adjustable gas blocks help, but I wouldn't consider them mandatory.

I'd go for adjustable gas block first, since it helps with the cycling issues introduced by a suppressor along with the blowback.  From there, if you still have blowback, your options are:

(In no particular order)
1.  RTV silicone mod on your existing charging handle
2. Gas Vent
3. Gas Buster Charging Handle

RTV silicone is like... $6 off Amazon for you to try.  I've heard very good things about the gas vent and I'd try that next.

This.

That said, between the gas buster or modified CH and the vent you can make a pretty big dent in your blowback.  Since the FA is IMO worthless, you don't lose anything.
