Yes the Renegade is an older SWR model as I believe they were all made in South Carolina prior to SWR moving manufacturing to the Silencerco fab shop in Utah. I have a Renegade that I picked up in 2011/2012 after they had already stopped making them as a "new" old stock model. Based on my Renegade being toward the end of the manufacturing line and based on the serial number, I don't suspect SWR made very many of them. The Renegade or "A2-RA" as it was originally named was dropped from the lineup around the time after SWR merged with Silencerco. If memory serves correctly they were made for a year maybe two years max in 2010/11/maybe early 12. My guess is the website you have linked has not updated their site in some time as it would be hard to believe there are many (if any) left at this point. The Renegade also only came in one length and the "Short" version they have listed looks to be a Wolverine, which is another old SWR thread on can that I believe was sold after the original Joe Gaddini era SpecWar (with the gemtech bilock as the mount) was discontinued, Joe sold SWR to Henry, and they didn't have a quick detach mounting solution in place yet (i.e. pre ASR that comes with the new modern Specwars) |
