| Anyone getting a POI shift with their octane 45? I was shooting mine and shooting 3-4" left at 15 yards on my Ruger 1911 with a storm lake barrel. This normal? |

Quoted: m&p 9mm as well. I have also had two NRA instructors shoot them as well and get the same results. So it happens with different hosts and different pistons? If that's the case, an e-mail to Silencerco is probably the best way to resolve it. FWIW, I don't see much POI shift with my Octane 45. |

Try this...
Make sure all baffles are oriented the same (Use the cut out at the mouth of the baffle for reference, the little scoop thing). Line up those cutouts with the laser engraving on the tube Use the piston adjustment notches to change the POI. Tighten down the silencer onto your host. Pull the silencer out and rotate it until the laser engraving is on the right side of the pistol. Shoot a group. Pull the silencer out again, rotate one notch (laser closer to top), shoot a group. Rinse and repeat until you find the position of the laser engraving that causes no POI shift or at least as little as possible. Make sure you always orient the baffles the same and position the silencer the same on the host from there on out. Make sure that the gun is empty when you are messing with the silencer on the end of the barrel. |

| Using mine on both my FNP 45's I get a roughly 1" lower impact point at 20 yards than without it, could just be me also letting down the front sight with the added weight on the front end. Never really bothered me as my shooting suppressed with those guns are reserved for 25 yards or less anyway. |
