Anyone know what would cause this? This was my first time out shooting this suppressor.  The host was a factory threaded barrel Glock 19.  I was running Freedom Munitions 147gr new ammo.  Didn't even know it happened until I was all done for the day, and was putting everything away.

Bad threads, or it got loose while shooting. Or ammo. Or probably some other things.

Iam thinking it may have gotten loose.  That was my first assumption, but I wanted to see what else could have caused it.  I guess I will be looking for a replacement end cap now.

At least you can replace the end cap easily... None thing I really like about my Ospreys, you'll see them coming loose before it becomes an issue.

Most likely, it was loose. I keep a dab of blue Loctite on the threads of my Octane because it would continually get loose.

Call Silencerco.

This. They have awesome customer service. I had baffle strikes and end cap ding cause by a wobbly mount and they had it fixed at no expense.

Are these not the same endcaps that SilencerShop has for sale now?

I was impressed how few rounds it took to loosen my GM-9 - like, less than a magazine. I'm going to invest in some locktite before I take it out again

Call Silencer Co.  I had one on mine due to bad ammo.  They replaced it.

Also, always make sure your booster piston is lubed.  Since you said this was the first trip out, a factory installed dry piston will cause endcap strikes.

A dry, carboned piston will not properly seat in the booster and allow misalignment.  Happens more often than you would think.

I was wondering about this?

Where is the lube applied? By the spring portion or where it enters through the o-ring?

I used to be a big freedom supporter after some really bad qc I no longer shoot their brand ,
I am not saying there ammo caused it but it would not surprise me otherwise
