Put over 100 rounds through the mini 4 today on my DD Mk18, very pleased with this little guy, lightweight, short, with the can attached overall length I think is under 14", plus you don't get the feeling like something is hanging on the end of your barrel like you do with other cans.  Very pleased with performance, takes the bite outta the 10.3 sbr and was very comfortable shooting indoors.

Gun is over gassed and runs a little rough, Had one malfunction when can was attached but I think that was due to the fact that I'm still running the stock H buffer and spring, once I put in the right buffer/spring combo this gun will be outstanding, anyone with this setup have buffer weight/ spring advise would be much appreciated. Stock spring should be good but was thinking about and H2.  Defiantly going to invest in some tango panels cause this thing gets hot!

Overall I am one very happy customer, if your in the market for a mini suppressor you should really take a look into this

So, heres an idea. Instead of adding more mass to the operating components to curb a sympton of you problem, which is pretty much inevitable with a suppressor, why not solve the actual problem, to much gas, with an adjustable gas block?
I am not trying to be rude, I really want to know why you would do one instead of the other.

You likely know the reason already. It's easier, faster, and cheaper to change the buffer.

Nice setup, OP. I like the Mini-4.

I really would like to hear a Mini 4 next to an M4 2000.  Where in Pa are you?

I have to agree. Mini 4 is an awesome mini can! I have a few full size cans that are great on my 7-10" guns. Put a full size on a 16" gun and its crap. Almost dnot notice the Mini 4 on full length barrel. My Saker K is being shipped from SS right now, ready to compare the K to the Mini 4.

I can't ever get a strait answer about what buffer does what.  But I went on wesguns.com to purchase one of their barrels
the other day and found this.
BUFFER H2 4.6OZ$29.95
BUFFER, 9MM 5.6OZ$34.95
BUFFER, H3 5.4OZ$34.95

I then proceed to Ebay and purchased a 4.6 and a 5oz buffer for like $14 shipped each.
I have a 9mm pistol and a 300 blk that I've been running with a so-called standard buffer under 3OZ

Thanks man, yea couldn't have said it better, I have been lurking around the cqbr thread and all the rage over there is the govnah gasblock, I'll have to look more into it, and for muzzle device I'm using the brakeout
