Saker shipped last week, had a conjugal visit saturday ....
Local guy who sales other brands and hadnt heard the saker came in and shot it...said it was "stupid quiet" remington 220 subs and gemtech 187? i believe Once u get it on and heated up a little it mounts up in 2 seconds one handed. Mount is beyond rock solid. Already have a 556k on the way. 2 questions though...Do the gemtech subs always leave an unburnt yellow fouling i your gun, and what is the best substance/process to dip the saker for cleaning? |

I've only shot about 40 of the Gemtech's but honestly haven't noticed the yellow fouling. I'll Inspect. As stated, centerfire suppressors are supposed to be self cleaning I believe and don't need to be manually cleaned. |

I have an 8.2" with a Liberty Mystic. The gemtech subs have always left unburnt powder in the receivers, i always assumed it was because of the short barrel. |

It's filler from gemtech, like cornmeal or something. Remmington doesn't have it.
Love my saker762 on my 8", it is stupid quiet, subs will burn all powder in 8" or more. The 300 is designed to be shot in an SBR Also, if it doesn't come apart, then it don't need cleaning. OP, if u buy a 556 endcap for your saker, it's better than a 556 can, I've been told I have cap but, haven't found a 556 can to compare |

Ive heard mention of the yellow filler before. Does that mean stick with the remington subs? |

Not necessarily, Remm quality not the best since going corporate, the Gemtechs are still good, filler don't hurt anything,. I still shoot them |
