I need a 1/2-36 to ..578x28 thread adaptor. I've been looking for a while with nothing.
I want to put my 45 can on my CMMG mk9 9mm AR.

You'd be better off getting a new piston for your can, or fixed attachment depending on the model of can.

SRI is supposedly making HEMS pistons and whatnot. But good luck actually getting one.

I've seen 1/2x28 to .578 x28 adapters. And 1/2x36 to 1/2x28. You can do a two step conversion

This is really pushing the limits of tolerance stack. I would never ever use it recommend the use of multiple adapters.  

Try TROS or Tornado Technologies, but having the barrel turned to 1/2-28 is your best option.

Trosusa can make one for you, I had him make a 1/2-36 to 9/16-24 adapter for me
