| Heard 2 guys at a LGS talking, one said you had to use special bullets and the other said, no you had to use a special spring to make it cycle, what's the story? |

Mine all run with the springs they came with and any ammo I have available. Quoted:

My Gen 3 Glock 21 is a little finicky and doesn't go all the way back into battery when shooting some ammo. But I think that may have to do with getting the slide cut for the RMR and a weight balance issue more than anything. Either way I ordered an aftermarket spring and my armorer thinks it may solve all the problems. (Sidenote: cycles with a AAC Tirant 45 no problem, but my Evo45 acts up. Beyond me.)
My 19 and 17 have no problems. Bottom line is if it's out of the box, you should be able to drop a new barrel in it and it should work like a charm. |
| What they may be talking bout is if you dont have a booster or Piston in your suppressor you have to play around with different recoil springs to cycle the slide because the weight of the suppressor is too much for the barrel. This doesnt apply to fixed barrels though. If your suppressor has a piston or booster to help cycle the slide it should be ok. |
