AAC, Griffin, Gemtech, SiCo all have comps that mount to their can mounts.
Now SF is planning on one that looks awfully like their Micro http://www.thetruthaboutguns.com/2015/01/foghorn/surefire-introduce-muzzle-brake-looks-like-silencer-attaches-silencer-mount/

the super micro mini nano! Looks like it has a place for when you don't want to run a can but don't want the full on brake experience. Exactly why I'm interested in one! I had been hoping Surefire would make this, but I didn't get my hopes to high, very pleasant surprise. |

The appeal for me is going to classes where brakes are not allowed... but not everyone is running a suppressor... and I may want to take mine off This, even if a brake is allowed, not fun to be "that guy." Hell even at the range, particularly indoor, it's just being s good shooting neighbor. For rifles we have THOUSANDS invested in, this device will be chump change. |
| I NEED this! When shooting my sbrs unsuppressed with a surefire brake it's like I'm getting punched in the head with every squeeze of the trigger. The concussion is bad enough on my 10.3" that the Eotech blinks off when fired. This would be perfect for unsuppressed shooting. |

Most of my guns have the MB556K on them at the moment.
I just hope they aren't cutting up old Micros. Still trying to find more of them. |

I'll get one, F1 it and weld a washer onto the end. What's the worst that could happen? Actually, it would make a great F1 Base for a micro. I want to see someone do this. Single baffle and an end cap should work well and be cheaper than a factory micro. |

I'll pick one up too.
You guys think you're puny 10.5 inch 5.56mm rifles with a brake are unshootable - try a 8.5 inch, 6.8 mm. It's not really shootable, unless your life depends on it, even with muffs and plugs, under a range roof. Nastiest blast I've ever felt. But great with a can - but I'd rather not put too much wear on it from the short bbl, high power 6.8mm round. So this will come in very handy. When can I give you my money? |

I might be able to get these heading to dealers in a month. Working on the packaging right now and getting them built up. I would like to see it in FDE as well. I happen to work less than 10 minutes from the Surefire building in Fountain Valley in California. Any chance I could just stop on by to pick one up?!? |

Interesting remark that there is a "new" welding technology and that they are "much" stronger than the original version. Wonder if that new welding is circumferential welding that all the other manufacturers have been utilizing. Quoted:
