I'm helping a buddy look for a .45 suppressor host. He does not want a G21. Not excited about a P227 (psa had them for $699 IIRC). He found a HK45 w/ factory threaded barrel for $700 locally. Seems too good to be true...? He is a 1911 guy but doesn't want to get a threaded barrel for his Kimber Raptor. Suppressor is a SiCo osprey it that matters. ETA: doesn't HK have a rebate? details? He's High. I called the shop and they said $1,199

If your buddy likes the 1911 why not pick up another 1911 with threaded barrel? The Sig 1911 TacOps is on my short list..

I bought this 1911 for my Octane 45HD. Remington has a $75 mail in rebate if bought by Dec. 31. It was $749 a few days ago...
