| What's the best/cheapest place to get a 1/2-28 to 5/8-24 thread adapter? I can't imagine paying $50 for one of these. Thanks. |

This is the one I bought, it is the best price shipped I could find, the PA one at Brownells is cheaper if you are already ordering other stuff (already paying for shipping with other parts). I didn't want to use the extended type like cncwarrior makes. |

| I got one from dsk armory for $22 shipped. It's used on my ss tube from Chris in one of the dyi threads and fits the cap and my we perfectly. https://www.dskarmory.com/home/5-muzzle-thread-adapters.html |

Thread adapters in this configuration should not have tiny flats on them as it makes them very difficult to remove if they get stuck. You will round off the flats which compounds the problem. Cheap thread adapters can destroy the barrel threads or the internal threading on the suppressor leading to baffle strikes. Properly designed and manufactured parts are always the answer. Why take a chance with an expensive suppressor?
