| I've heard some conflicting statements regarding this, but does anyone know if the 3-prong flash hider that comes on the R700 SPS AAC-SD will allow a 762-SD to attach? It's a 51T flash hider, but I've been told that it wont work for some reason. If not, which AAC muzzle brake should I use? (5/8 - 24) |

This really is a pain in the ass and a bit discouraging. One of the reasons I bought the SPS Tactical AAC-SD is because it was 'supposed' to be suppressor ready. I emailed AAC and they ae telling me the deep socket flash hider will not work but the standard socket will. Well guess which one came on my rifle? Yep, you guessed it.
Now I get to either try to track down a standard socket flash hider and hope that it shoulders against the barrel properly or buy a $150 Blackout muzzle brake. I'm not even 100% sure about the brake lining up properly |

Personally I don't like the looks of the flash hider and use the brake exclusively. Suppose to save the suppressor a wee bit as well. |
