Hello,

So I got a saker 7.62, octane 45hd and a sparrow in jail.

Just curious if it's worth picking up a saker 556 and octane 9mm?

I know I can swap pistons as well as end caps just seeing if it's worth it or do you find ur good with the multi can?

Thanks

I started out with an AAC 762sd for the whole multi can role. Shot it once on my 556 ar bc it was just too damn heavy. I have since then bought dedicated 556 cans. For me it's hard to ignore the size and weight difference between the 30 cal cans and 556 cans.

Sure, if you've got the cash to spend.

I'm going with Octane 45HD, Sparrow and most likely a Surefire 7.62 mini.  If I had the cash for more cans I'd surely buy them.  9mm Octane with a three lug mount, Saker K, KAC NT4 or Surefire RC for a 5.56 can, etc.  Thunder Beast for the precision rifles.  Maybe a couple more rim fire cans.

I'd pick up another rimfire can - you can never have too many of those.

What do you shoot more, rifles or pistols? Honestly, the Octane 9 isn't that much smaller than the Octane 45 (same diameter, about an inch shorter).

I have the exact same 3 cans in jail right now based on the reccomendations i read here.  If i was going to add more it would be a saker K followed by an octane 9, I am sure a spectre II would find its way into one of those orders though because 22LR is where i think i would get the most use.

I also decided to try my hand at some form 1s and am waiting on EForms for a 22 and a 556 can for my mk12, but that would never have happened except for running into another arfcom member (RANB) who offered to help me out with the process.

I base the saker just off numbers since my experience is so limited, but these seem like a significant difference hanging on the end of a barrel.

saker k
14.7oz
5.8"

saker 762
20.7oz
7.5"

If you have the cash to spend you should get a couple more. I started with a 7.62, a 45 and one rimfire, but I hated having to move them around. Now I have 9 cans and don't have to move them anymore.

Yea when I held the saker 762 on my 556 I was like dam this is heavy , so I was thinking dedicated 556 one.

I mostly got the 45 hd for my 1911s and my 9mm ar upper .

I was also looking at the saker k 556 but they are out of stock at silencer shop and was gonna go with a saker 556.

I was also concerned about the possibility of the jan ruling about trusts ..

I have the cash so I could get both just not sure if it's worth the 2k after stamps
