One of the pitfalls of shooting with a suppressor. I have a "gas-buster" on my AR that barely keeps the crap outa my face.

The 'particles' part of it is dependent on the powder you use. You might also be getting oil or carbon back in the face, which do not depend on the powder you're using.

Definitely not oil.
