I meant this to be a f/u post to a thread (from DEC-13) which is now archived. And also, a bit of a moot point at present as eForms has been officially taken off-line. [this was probably necessary -- my last "success" with eForms required me logging in at 5a on a Sunday morning] Anyway, that said, thought it might be of benefit to someone in the future to hear how I handled this situation: - when I received my approved Frm 4 (SBR) by email, I discovered that my model # was incorrect
- Dunno if I made an error from the drop-down box, or the web form used for submission glitched - Anyway, I sent a letter to the ATF (West Virginia address) explaining what the problem was, and requesting the registry be updated to the correct model # - Got a reply (by mail) in about three months, acknowledging my request and documenting the change This approach worked fairly straightforward for me, but YMMV.
