I've asked this before, but the thread was archived.

Has anyone run an Ops Inc can under a Samson Evolution rail?

I have a 12.5" SBR that I shoot with a 12th Model suppressor and want a 10-11" free-floating hand guard. This would partially cover the Ops Inc collar. The Rainier Arms versions of the Samson Evolution is at the top of my list right now, but wanted to consult the hive to see if anyone has tried it. The numbers work out on paper (1.5" diameter can, 1.56" ID of the rail), but are cutting it close enough for me to be wary.

The rail will flex ever so slightly and contact the suppressor. Probably throwing the POI off.
That is what Rainier told me when I was considering the same thing a while back.

I think you need a 1.6" or more ID

There are other rails out there that will work

I ran my Griffin RSTA silencer inside an Evo rail. The silencer is listed at 1.47 and there was room.
It was close though, flex would be a concern. I was running a short rail, so not a huge deal for me.  If I were you, I'd get he new seekins key mod rail. At 1.8 ID, there would be plenty of room and the mounting system should be stronger than the Evo system.
