| My fourth can, but my first experience with SilencerShop. Ordered can around noon on Monday... received serial number and E-file Form 3 notification for my can roughly an hour after my order was placed. Unbelievable! |

They are great guys I bought one from them in November and 2 weeks later bought my second one |

I'm all for the lowest prices, best customer service, etc. However...
In the end, you still need to transfer through your local dealer. And if all you use your dealer for is a conduit for online shopping, they will need to recoup their time and efforts through transfer fees. I prefer asking my local dealer to find me the best price on XYZ suppressor. If it's reasonable, I buy it, and he doesn't charge me transfer fees. I pay a little more than I would through silencershop, but I'm building a relationship with my local dealer. And I don't feel so bad when I email him for a status check or a price quote. Most of the time it sounds like he gets the suppressors from silencershop anyway. So everyone wins. If "the system" were different, and you could buy direct from silencershop and have them ship directly to you (like TX residents) I may feel differently. YMMV |

YMMV I understand how your point, however, I am building a relationship with my local dealer through the $100 transfer fee which still puts me below the local cost of the can. Not to mention avoiding the 10% sales tax we pay here. I don't need to email for updates, the Form 3 went in in an hour, and they are emailing me a tracking number when it goes through. |

I'm spoiled no sales tax... Does your dealer charge $100 for a transfer fee if you buy direct from him? If the fee is waved if you order through him, he could order direct from silencer shop and get roughly the same price. Again, don't get me wrong, I love the idea of silencershop. But it only works for me if you could cut out the middle man (your local dealer) and you can't. |

Should be any number of lawyers in AL that will spin you up a trust for a couple hundred bucks. They aren't that hard at all, usually done boilerplate from their software that has all of that stuff in it. |
| Silencer shop is the best. You can be totally dumb to anything about silencers and call them and they will help you decide what Can is best for you and walk you through the process. If you paper file they have it totally filled out and paperwork marked where you cant mess it up and they check it when you send it back to them in a prepaid envolope. I cant say enough good stuff about them. I have ordered 2 cans with them and im on a waiting list for a new gaurdian 22 ss. Ill give them all my business. They truely make it easy for anyone to get a suppressor ( at least in the FREE parts of the US). |

After totaling everything including the transfer costs, I saved just over $500 off of MSRP. As far as I know, all the dealers around here charge MSRP for cans. |

I bought my first can from SilencerShop. Then, I bought my next two from the local dealer that handled the first transfer.
I still use SS.com to give my local dealer my alternative purchasing method, so that the local price ends up being just about the same, even if I do have to pay state tax on the can. |

You NH guys should get ahold of Mark at MAC Tactical. His prices are very reasonable and usually include shipping and transfer fees. Very easy to deal with.

Just placed an order for my first supressor (Thanks you all in this forum, I knew nothing about these a few years ago and basically have been educated by you guys). I got a YHM Ti-Phantom 30cal.
I also ordered from Silencer Shop. I got a quote from my local FFL and they wanted MSRP (around $1100). I am not sure how they can compete when SS is offering them at such a discount. The FFL does get my transfer business though. $50 is their fee. Not bad considering how long they will have to keep it in their shop for me. |

I just bought two cans from Silencer Shop, too.
I had a setup with a local manufacturer who would do transfers for FREE… Then the situation changed and I could not use him. Found three dealers - one charges $50 per transfer doing paper forms, another charges $75 for the same, and a third charges $100 per, but does eforms. Chose the eform dealer. Then my contact with the local mfg came back on line and I could do a transfer for free. Don't know if he does eforms, though. Still happy. Good price from Silencer Shop. Good price and fast transfer. |
