Does anyone know if the factory threads on a M&P 15-22 are good to go with a 22 can?  I've searched around but haven't found a definitive answer. I know there are plenty of people on here running suppressed 15-22's. Did you just screw it on and go?

I use a spacer because the AR type threads will screw in and touch the blast baffle on my cans. Never had a problem with either of my 15-22s

I used a spacer but yes, just threaded on my Thunder Beast 22L can and it's been fine for hundreds of rounds. Forgot where I bought the spacer, but I think it's just some anodized aluminum coated black, basically like a large thick washer.

As others said, use a spacer. Once the spacer is on, just screw on the can and go.
