Something happened this weekend that hasn't happened before. First off..I'm running an 11.5 BCM with a Surefire Mini suppressor with a Geissele SSA-E trigger.  My BCG is a Spikes M16 NiB with a Spikes T2 buffer.

So I was shooting at our vacation home, when my rifle seemed to "slam fire".  I'm not entirely sure what happened but I pulled the trigger and 2 rounds fired almost simultaneously.  I stopped shooting and checked out what had happened.  The trigger was still reset and another round was in the chamber.  I guess its possible a double tapped but man those rounds almost sounded like 1 shot they were so fast.  Is it possible my bolt is over gassed and the firing pin slamming forward set off the next round?

I have about 300-400 rounds through this set up with zero malfunctions.  I did do an intense cleaning with a very liberal lube job before going out. Maybe too lubed lol and so everything was moving faster..I don't know

Maybe you accidentally bumpfired. If it's on a bi pod, sometimes leaning forward on it a little will also cause bump fire, especially with a lighter trigger.
