I'm getting ready to send in my paperwork for my first can and was wondering, since I reload, if there is anyway to reload with smaller powder charges to reduce the amount of db? Or something similar.  Hopefully that's not a stupid question.  Let me know if it is!

yes, that is what we call "cold loaded". yes it is possible, yes it is done (300 blackout). you'll want to be careful though, depending on caliber, bullet weight, twist rate, and velocity combinations, you can get unstable bullets at the muzzle. In addition to being inaccurate unstable bullets can cause baffle strikes, unlikely but it has happened, can happen, and will happen  again. bad juju in a can that cost you 6 or 8 months of your life  and lots of $$$to get. IMO unless you are loading subsonic ammunition, which i pretty much proclaim  as being a bad idea unless the cartridge was designed to do so (300 blackout), you will likely not not get a significant enough reduction in noise to even bother changing your reloading process

What caliber? It is only really beneficial if you are able to load to a subsonic velocity as the supersonic "crack" contributes a significant amount of noise to a suppressed gun.

5.56. I forgot to mention that

definitely don't bother. a 55gr bullet moving at 1050 fps (subsonic) has barely any more energy than a 22lr (36 gr @1250). plus it will likely be unstable as i mentioned before, and subsonic 556 almost never cycles. seriously don't wast your time.

This man speaks the truth.  The only subsonic 556 ammo that I've seen that reportedly cycles the action is some "Extreme Shock" 100gr factory ammo.  I'm told it will cycle the action, but I can't vouch for the accuracy.  And I'd check it unsuppressed first to make sure it's adequately stabilized (not keyholing) before shooting it through a can.

I load 55g fmj with 4g of trailboss for by bolt action and it remains subsonic but don't expect it to cycle an AR15

Sub 556 is a WASTE!  Just shoot a 22 suppressed if that is what you seek.  You'll be much happier.

When i get home I'm going to try and load some 90g SMK's and see if I can get my AR to cycle....just because.  They will probably keyhole but I won't know until I try.

It's not what he seeks cause it's not what he asked.

I agree shooting a 22 caliber bullet at subsonic velocities with a 223 case is a waste of powder. You can shoot 22LR for that. But I reload 308 subs for bolt guns, 9mm subs for pistols and carbines and 300 BLK subs for an AR. In fact, I've found reloading subs to be substantially cheaper than buying factory subs. Even a greater price savings over buying supers vs reloading supers.
