AL currently does not allow suppressors for hunting but TN does. I am a AL residident, and a landowner in TN. If I have a suppressed rifle, can I carry it with me to TN and hunt there with it? Any interstate-type or federal issues?

Another related question: if I move my permanent residence to TN, what happens to the suppressor? Do I have to go through the whole form 4 thing again in TN? And can it be done after the move?

You do not need to notify or obtain permission to transport a suppressor across state lines, although most conservative types will recommend you obtain a 5320.20 anyway. Before you do so, be sure it is legal in each jurisdiction throughout your journey.
