Will both the phantom and vortex styles add enough length to my 14.5" upper to bring me out to 16"?

Not that I can find either of them in stock anywhere right now anyway

Thanks

I called Gemtech and they said the vortex is long enough, but the phantom isnt.

I don't know who you talked to, but our Phantom Quickmount (Bi-Lock) for our G5 suppressor will bring the overall length of the M4 14.5 inch barrel to the legal minimum 16 inch length. The mount will have to be drilled and blind pinned for legal mounting. Do not weld or use silver solder, as either will destroy the heat treatment of the mount and barrel and ruin the accuracy of the barrel

If you should decide to drill and pin it yourself, you will need to use a solid carbide drill due to the heat treatment.
