I'm looking at getting a .308 suppressor.  I've been looking around and have about 90% decided on a Surefire FA762K but I just wanna here a little on what people who have been around them have to say.
Basically are the worth it or should I go with something cheaper.
It will be going on a 762 OBR, Rem 700, 5.56 SBR and a few other 5.56 ARs.

Thanks

IMO the SureFire is worth the price premium simply because of the excellent mounting system.  You'll never see anyone gripe about the SureFire QD mounts, or ask about a wobble, or need to file down a part to get it to fit solidly, it just works.  We got a FA762K as our first rifle suppressor, specifically to move between 5.56, .308, and 300BLK rifles.  It mounts up as tight now as it was the day we got it.

We also have pistol and rimfire cans from Silencerco and AAC, which are great.  The many threads here and elsewhere about AAC mount issues kept us away from their .308 can, which by all accounts is an otherwise excellent suppressor.

That's going to be a great can for what I'm guessing is your application based on the amount of AR's your wanting to mount it on. For accuracy, I wouldn't go anywhere but TBAC, but otherwise, the Surefire makes a great can.

I have a YHM Ti on its way from everybody I have talked to they sound very good for the price point.

No it may not be a surefire.

But rifle cans are never really "quite" anyway

All I know is I sure like the weight of my can and the qd mount works great. now mayby if the ATF would give me my stamp I could report on how it sounds

Surefire cans are nice and they do have quality mounting systems.

FWIW: I sell YHM, AAC, and Surefire cans at work and a majority of the buyers go with AAC or YHM for their guns.

The Surefire price point is a little higher than most of my customers want to pay and I can't ignore the difference in suppression rates when using other suppressors.

FWIW-When ADCO pins a Surefire mount to a barrel they typically charge more since they're quite a bit harder.

If using one of those Surefire brakes on a SBR I wouldn't imagine much blast baffle erosion would occur since the brake would be getting most of the abuse.
