Not sure if this is the right category but I have a question on how the system in these pictures would affect accuracy? The barrel shroud has a screw holding it into the action. It can somewhat be seen in the fourth picture. Would accuracy degrade or be improved with a system like this??? Thank you for any input!

| For that set up to be legal in the usa the barrel underneath would have to be 16" or the shroud would have to be pinned and welded or otherwise "permanently" attached to the removable barrel so that nothing is below 16". That aside, i have several integrals and they are very accurate. |

Alright I did not know the barrel underneath would have to be 16", thank you for that info! Also thank you for the info in the accuracy! It doesnt as long as the shroud is permanently attached. The OAL of the barrel/shroud combo has to be 16" or more otherwise its an SBR. |

I'm not sure why he left it 15", but that guy is from NewZealand and they have different laws over there. Apparently there are almost no restrictions on suppressors. So I'm not sure about SBR rifles, but I would assume that the laws might be different as well. This. Any you have to think he might not have had the capability to pin and weld or otherwise make permanent the shroud......or even if that would be recognized by law officials. |
