I wonder if anyone drilled one. It probably works just as good...

I've had one for quite a while now, and it works as advertised.  I started out with a PRI gasbuster charging handle and then added this.  Between the gas vent and the charging handle, it cuts a lot of the blowback down. If I decided to build another AR, I'd do it again, I mean it's only $39.

Have you tried it without the Gasbuster?  How's that work?

Have you ever taken a forward assist apart? Too much going on in there to let anything out properly with the claw and spring in the way.

I have one and it works well with a siliconed charging handle. we have tried drilling a regular FA and it sucked then we dried cutting "gills" with a dremel... No worky either. There is just too much crap in there.

I have one as well. I use it with a RTV'd GasBuster and I get no gas.

Think I would rather drill a small hole into the right side of the charger handle where the 'ear' meets the leg.
