Some of you may have seen my posts on other threads crying about the stupid amount of time it was taking to get a Form 3 processed. NFA lost it numerous times, 2 FFL's on my end ended up letting their SOT's expire, etc. It took 5 months to finally get it approved and shipped here. That was for a SilencerCo Osprey 45. While I was waiting I found a Gemtech Halo locally and jumped on that. So after checking today, the Halo went pending last Fri and the Osprey's check cleared last Thurs. I know there's still a while before I can bring em home, but there appears to be some light at the end of the NFA tunnel. These are my first transactions with the NFA world. Might be time to start that Form 1 paperwork now. Thanks ARFCOM for all the info and insight into the process or I probably never would have dipped my toe into the NFA waters.  |
