I'm sure this has been asked before, and for that I apologize. Do you use cheap ammo through your rifle suppresor?

I do...  I shoot wolf in my 10.5" Noveske with my AAC M4-2000.  Be warned, most companies will reccomend that you DO NOT do that.  After a few thousand rounds I have had no issues.

I tried shooting my LE6920 with an AAC 7.62SD... a round stuck in the chamber on the second shot.
I upgraded to a SOPMOD extractor spring upgrade kit from Bravo Company, but I have not tried to shoot steel cased ammo
with my suppressor since. I do think it would stand a much better chance of working now since the new spring is VERY strong
and doesn't let the extractor slip over the rim of the cartridge.

I've put about 3,000 rounds of Wolf and Tula through my YHM without a problem.  Used Herter's and every other round would stick in the chamber of three different barrels that I tried and I have not bought steel case ammo since.

I put about 50 rounds through it today no problems.

That's all I used on my 10.5" SBR suppressed. I just started reloading .223 so I don't shoot as much steel cases anymore.

Only issue I ever had was a .223 chambered DPMS AR15 shooting wolf and Tula steel cased ammo. It would fire but if I wanted to eject a live round the case would get stuck something awful. Every once in awhile it wouldn't eject as the case was stuck.

My 223 and 762 AKs shoot steel cased ammo all the time since it's generally pretty cheap. Never had a problem.

In fact, my mini draco (7" barrel) will occasionally jam with brass cased ammo while running nearly perfectly with steel cased ammo all day long.

Go figure.

I'm less likely to run steel cased in my AR, mostly because I really don't shoot it much anyway. But the few times I shot a couple rounds of it, I didn't have any trouble.

223, 9 mil, 45, yes, all the time with no problems. 16 inch barrel 308? No, gave my Socom 2 with Smith can end cap and baffle strikes. Havent had them with better ammo.

Doubt it was the ammo...Not saying you're wrong but the SEI/Fisher can mounts suck IMHO and I've dealt with more than a few that did the same thing.

FWIW, the SEI/Fisher mounts work better if the mount bottoms out agaist the muzzle and not the barrel shoulder.  I corrected the misalignment on one myself by counterboring the rear of the mount to achieve that condition.  Dave Fisher himself passed that tip to me, and I don't think I've seen it mentioned elsewhere.

This is, of course, after I grazed the end cap on my can as well.

Good to know.  Unfortunately we didn't really have this option with issue rifles...but still good to know none the less.

That is a horrific amount of misalignment!  Was that the first shot, or did it work itself into that condition?

By the third baffle the bullet was keyholed.  The can self destructed after about 80rnds into that particular range session.  This was on a properly tightened/mounted can and a M14 EBR.  I beat the baffles out with a flat tip screwdriver and a big heavy hammer.  The end cap had to be placed in a vice to be removed.  The only thing I can say overall is that the tube is tough as hell (it better be since the can is heavy enough to beat a baby seal to death with).  It could have been rebuilt but we passed it off to Rear-D before deploying...and returned to hear all of the SEI cans were turned in.
