| After screwing on the suppressor I noticed that it bottomed out that left maye 3-5 threads exposed. The intructions say to replace the crush washer on the flash hider with a peel washer (supplied) It appears the diameter of the washer was to big to allow the he suppressor to seat fully. After a few passes with the grinder on the washer, the suppressor finally seated properly. Has anyone come across this issue? Also, why do you need to replace the crush washer with a peel washer? |
| You do realize the purpose of a peel washer is to peel away the extra layers? You only need to heat the washer and peel away layers until it is perfect. Maybe I misread your problem. I was thinking that it was to thick, but you stated diameter. In that case.....no I have not heard of that issue. |

A crush washer can shift the FH so it is not concentric with the bore. When you add the length of the can, you risk endcap strikes. The peel washer is perfectly flat and will assure the FH is bore concentric. Even after making this change, mount the can and sight down the bore from the rear of the receiver with the bcg removed. I had one FH that was out of spec. You can never be too careful Use Rocksett, like the instructions say. |
