I have a 45 ACP AR15 upper with a 7.5 inch barrel; it is threaded 5/8 x 24.
I started shopping around for a suppressor today and am discovering that I have the incorrect thread pitch for every can I can find. I am starting to think my only option is to send you the barrel and have you cut and rethread it .578 x 28TPI. Can anyone think of other options? Thinking my only route is to have it cut and rethreaded to .578 x 28 |

SilencerCo makes a 5/8x24 piston for the blackout/whisper. I am not sure if AAC does or not. You dont have to cut your barrel and rethread it. You can also use a 5/8x24 to 1/2x28 adapter and use a 1/2x28 piston in the Ti-RANT or Osprey 45 cans. I dont think you can stuff a .45 bullet through a 1/x28 adapter or 1/2x28 piston as it just wont fit.
