I have been reading up on suppressors and I assumed they all "threaded" on.  By integrating a specific "flash suppressor" that the can locks onto, it becomes a quick release mechanism and as long as all your rifles have the same slash suppressor....it just clicks from gun to gun togun....am I missing anything

Yes, you can't click a 22 caliber can to a 30 caliber rifle.  However, the inverse would be ok.  A rimfire or pistol can should not be used for rifle class ammunition  Also, flash suppressors mounts (QD) are brand specific for the most part.

Oh....was even thinking about that versatility.  I was more thinking ....If I bought suppressor X, and fitted all my ar-15's with the same muzzle-flash-hider (all 5.56) then my suppressor will fit all of them.....

That will work.

If you want a quick attach 5.56mm suppressor I like my AAC M4-2000 suppressor which uses their AAC flash hider mount. I put the AAC flash hider mounts on all my 5.56mm rifles to run my suppressor on them all. I have a 3-lug 9mm submachine gun suppressor which attaches via a 3-lug barrel like on the HK Mp5. I have direct thread on suppressors for my pistols, which attach directly to the threaded barrels.
