I am looking to purchase a AAC 7.62SD can. I have been told that I can use it on my AR. My question is what kind of adaptor do I need for a 5.56 barrell that fits a 7.62 can.

You will need a 1/2x28 mount in the pattern that your can will fit - be it 18t or 51t.
