Should I put a crush washer behind my suppressor mount or the mount on without it?

Do NOT use a crush washer or any other kind of washer you will risk a baffle strike if you do and void the warranty.

Owner's manual says NO.

ETA: Manual also says don't use any thread-locker and torque to 20-30lbs.

Thanks guys! How do I tell how much 20-30lbs is without a torque wrench. Is there anyway to get it close, like finger tight then a half turn or any other tricks?

Discerning torque without a torque wrench is difficult at best. Joints like Autozone have lend-a-tool programs where you can borrow a torque wrench usually for just a deposit if you don't have one, just make sure you also have a crowfoot crescent 3/4 or an armorer's wrench with a torque slot.

I can't answer your question but can tell you that I too was reluctant to buy a torque wrench at first and just borrowed one from someone who had one.  Then I realized how frequently I was borrowing it and decided to buy my own.  They really are not that expensive.

Thanks for the input guys. I will just by the torque wrench and be done with it. What is a decent brand/price that will do what I need?

I have no idea... the torque wrench in my toolkit is a Sears model from the '70s. You could beat a cow to death with this thing.

The best tools in the world are the ones from your dad / granddad's tool box. I have so many inherited old '60s and '70s tools I'm set for life with my Boris the Bullet Dodger tool kit... "heavy is good, heavy is reliable... if nut doesn't turn you can always hit it out with wrench."

I have this one. I set it for 25 ft/lbs and it beeps when it gets there.  I have four suppressors, one of which is a direct thread, so I use it several times a month.  Never had anything loosed up on me while shooting.
