I need a little help here. I have 2 AAC M4-2000's that I am waiting on. I got 2 of the 51 tooth AAC flashider mounts below put on my SR-15 & SCAR-16 for the M4-2000. But now I am thinking maybe I should have gone with the 51 tooth AAC comp below instead. My thinking is I really do not need the FH capibilty as I am not shooting at night. And maybe I would get a little less recoil with the comp mount. Since I have not used either of them I was wondering what you guys thought. Thanks for any help you can give. I know AAC makes a comp FH combo but I am thinking I would rather have one that does one thing very good then one that does 2 things ok.

I run both on a 10" and while the comp works as advertised it sounds like a grenade going off.  Loud as hell...

Or you could go with the Brakeout which is sort of a hybrid of both. Personally, I'm a "one or the other" kind of guy. I run the brake on the short guns, hider on the long'n.

Nice.... The breakout is interesting. AAC also just released a shorty can in 5.56....about 5.5" long and extends the overall weapon length by only 3".
