What do you shoot the most?  I have the most .22 LR hosts, but if you have a few hosts in the same caliber that you shoot the most.... I'd get that caliber.

I voted 22LR because that is by far the caliber I have the most hosts and suppressors in.  Hands down shot the most.

I'd go with a .22 can just because they reduce .22LR to practically nothing.  I love my can in 6.8 though.

9mm or .22lr for sure.

I cast my vote for a 30cal.  Of course I've got 4 uppers ranging from 6.5, 6.8, and 2 30cals so it made sense.  All will get a YHM 762 phantom mount.  I'm probably going to build a 556/22conv upper next year and the 30cal can will work well on a 556 so you get my reasoning :)

There is an easy answer to this question.

Get  all 4 at once.

QFT.  You can wait 4 months on paperwork 4 different times, or just bite the bullet and have them all processed in parallel.

My first is coming in 22, but then I realized that when it gets here it's just going to make me want more, so I ordered my second in 9mm only a few days later. I'll probably buy #3 before taking possession of #1.

I shoot my AR the most but I was thinking the suppressor would get me more excited to shoot my bolt-action .22 more often.

This is what I'm afraid of....

For a first, maybe a 9mm take down can. It surprisingly performs well on .22lr.  But I you don't want to go that route, just get a .22 can.

If you don't reload, then .22.  If you do reload 9mm or .22.

hmmmm... I wonder if one might get approved faster than the others or all at different times or all together.... would be interesting to find out, so someone do this and share the results. I don't have that kind of $$$

I got a .30 caliber suppressor for my first suppressor. I figured recoil and flash suppression was more important to me than sound. Besides a novelty, what good is a quiet .22lr? Maybe if I wanted to shoot in my garage or something. A .22 suppressor is in my future but not as my first.
