well, the form 4 cleared and i picked up my aac 51t 7.62sd yesterday. first thing i did when i got home yesterday was to mount it to the rifle. when i try to tighten it it seems to stop 1 tooth short of being "tight". if you back it off to where it locks into place it seems loose, and has movement.
i plan on shooting it this afternoon, so any help would be .... well a help. i'd give the major a call, but i'm sure he's at the SHOT show. |

I ended up calling aac, cs guy was polite and helpful. He said is wasn't a problem, it was common with new cans. Suggested that I torque it with a strap wrench to the first tooth that is tight. Shoot a few rds, unlock and do it again for a couple times ... It worked just fine Posted Via AR15.Com Mobile |
