Has anyone ever sent ther suppressor to someone to have it made to where you can open and clean it? I have an SWR Warlock that is really nice, but it would be even better if I could open it up to clean it out since I have a RR M16 incoming (in the next year or so ).

Liberty does retrofits of sealed .22 cans.

Does the $300 include the new tax stamp, or is the baffle stack replacements now not considered as manufacturing a new suppressor by another manufacture and seen as repair work alone? Also to add, don't put 223/5.56 down a 22lr can, unless it is rated for it. |

That's what I was wondering...and if I have to pay a new $200 xfer for, what they admit, is not a great design baffle stack, why wouldn't I just order their other 22 supressors that is only $300...... I thought that Gentec offered this service for the Outback II - which if true could affect a future purchase decision. They don't really make it a user serviceable model, they just don't seal it so that you can take it apart. Just make sure you are carefull with the baffle stack. |
