Does anyone have any info on how short a Buckmark barrel can be cut back before bullet stability is effected?
Can I go shorter than the tac sol 4 inch and still shoot safely through a 6 inch can?

The Walther P22 is a 3.5" barrel and guys run cans on them all the time. I would say at that length youre good to go.
What reason do you want shorter? Just asking.

I have the Tac Sol 4" and its super light weight and keeps everything sub-sonic with both my Sparrow and my Quest except Win X-pert and CCI Mini-mags.

4" seems about perfect as my TacSol Buckmark is that.  Good suppression with about all ammo, good overall length with can mounted and very light to boot, just 4oz.

I have a few BM's I was just tossing around the idea of going super short on one to keep the size down.

with my Walther P22, 3.4" barrel, I get a lot of short stroking from Federal 550 High Velocity bulk pack and a lot more with sub-sonic ammo.  But it could be the ammo it's self, but 3.4" doesn't allow for much back pressure to build up to help cycle the gun.  I do have an AAC Prodigy waiting to be Transfered to me, I am guessing it will create enough back pressure to help cycle it.
