I have a .22lr bolt gun that I am thinking about having threaded for the Spectre.  The muzzle diameter is 0.602", and the ID of the rear of the can is 0.520"; that would give 0.041" radial shoulder, which doesn't seem like alot to me.  If I have the barrel shortened by about 2", then I get up to 0.620" diameter.

Does anyone know the minimum recommended muzzle diameter to provide sufficient shoulder for the can to index on?

Thanks.
