I was wondering if you integrally supress a barrel and have an overall barrel  length of 16" and the supressor is permanantly attached to the barrel would it be classed as an AOW or supressor?  Hope you guys can help me out.

Over 16" it's just a suppressor. On a pistol with a forward grip or some other AOW feature, I guess it's suppressed AOW.  On a rifle under 26" it's a suppressed SBR, $400 tax.

Permanently attached suppressor with a barrel less the 16 inches is a suppressor tax stamp.  That's why some many of them are sealed and permanently attached.

Quick clarification.

If we're talking about a barrel plus permanently mounted suppressor that's 16"+ and an OAL of 26"+, it's one tax.

If it's shorter than that, it's two taxes.  "One tax" guns (like a MP5SD) with a permanently attached suppressor are no longer allowed.  Existing ones are grandfathered in and still transfer on one stamp, but new ones are always two stamps.

i was under the impression that barrel length does not mean anything. just overall length of barrel + anything else permanently attached.
much like 14.5" ar uppers with permanently attached flash hiders to make it 16"

Ok   so barrel over 16" , OAL over 26"  , perm mounted suppressor= 1 tax  under AOW or supressor ?

One stamp, suppressor. And the 26" is extended in a folder/telescoping. Shorter folded is OK.

You could try this one.

Sawtooth

May be a bit steep, but sure as heck seems cool.  Only one stamp ($200.00).
You'd keep a Stock OAL and get Cleanability.

This is something I want for a future build.
