| I just picked up a Costal Gun Passport can for my Walther P22. On my first range trip I only had walmart federal .22 ammo. My groups went from 2-3inches dead center without the can to 4-6inches (and high and to the right) with the can installed. I went home and took apart the can and cleaned it, everything looked fine. On my second trip to the range I tried remington standard velocity target. Now not only was I shooting high and to the right, every other round was a keyhole. Any ideas or suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks |

What P-22 adapter are you using? Have you called Costal? Mike Mers |

You can then easily look down the barrel. While looking down it from the chamber, look straight down it and then move your head slightly to each side so that you can see accross the bore. You'll notice if you can see more of the silencer's bore on one side than the other. Now, if it's nice and straight then it might just be the baffle stack overworking the gasses and affecting the bullet's flight. I did a form 1 silencer that had this effect. On my P22, high velocity stuff did Okay, but subsonic stuff just wasn't stabilized enough and would keyhole. The super short barrel is a huge factor on a P22. On a 5" barrel or longer I never have the problem. |
